Today marks the longest day of the year, a time when we are bathed in the most daylight and the Yang energy is at its peak. This powerful energy encourages us to feel more vibrant, alive, and energized. It’s the perfect moment to set intentions, embrace new beginnings, and let the light guide us towards growth and expansion.

As we soak up the sun’s rays, I invite you to take a moment to connect with nature, express gratitude for the abundance around us, and harness this vibrant energy to fuel our passions and dreams.

After three months of exploring and embracing the mountain life, I am thrilled to share that I’m a mountain man home owner.

Living in the mountains has been a dream come true. The crisp, fresh air, the stunning vistas, and the peaceful serenity have brought me a sense of calm and connection that I’ve never experienced before. From the moment I set foot in this place, I felt an undeniable pull.

I’m excited for this next chapter and for new memories soaking in the mountain magic.

I’ve worked with other plant medicines but I’ve always had a strong connection with the mushrooms. Working with the mushrooms has connected to my roots.

It’s my 33rd lap around the sun ☀️.

They say it’s my Jesus year.
And damn… does it feel like I had a resurrection.

The truth is, this year has been very difficult.
I guess I was overdue for a dark night of the soul.

There’s been transitions in many areas of my life & the last 3 months I’ve spent in isolation have been truly transformative.

Living in nature allowed me my nervous system to feel safe to feel.

I’ve been able to sit with my grief, my shadows and my pain without any outside interference.

I haven’t cried more in my life than I have recently. As a man who’s hasn’t really felt his tears, this felt like an initiation.

Though things have been difficult, I remind myself that I choose this path and it doesn’t get any easier, I only get more resilient.

I’d like to think I’m on the other side of it and now I’m embracing this new chapter.

There’s been areas and opportunities opening up in my life that I’ve prayed and worked towards.

I’m excited to see what chapter 33 has in store. Hopefully it’s more gentle but I’m here for it all.

Here’s to another year of growth.
